As the season changes and cold weather is ushered in our skin changes too. It is common in winter months to experience dry or itchy skin and many of us will need to alter our skin care regimen because of this. The changes in skin care may include switching to a heavier moisturizer (such as Skinfo Intensive Moisture Concentrate<\/a>), adding a hyaluronic acid serum (like SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel<\/a>) to your moisturizing routine and\/or switching to a gentler skin cleanser (such as Kinerase Gentle Daily Cleanser<\/a>). If you use a product containing retinol you may need to reduce the frequency of application. Adding an alpha hydroxy acid moisturizer can help to exfoliate rough, dry skin on the surface while increasing the water carrying capacity of the skin, leaving your skin softer and smoother.
