The new CoolSmooth\u2122<\/sup> Applicator is a FLAT handpiece designed specifically to target those areas that have more fibrous tissue such as outer thighs. This new handpiece has a flat plate with accordion sides that allow the handpiece to contour to the body. The device is strapped on with an elastic strap to keep it in place. Unlike\u00a0 other CoolSculpting<\/a>\u00ae handpieces that suck the excess fat into the applicator, CoolSmooth\u2122<\/sup> sits on the surface freezing the fat cells in that area causing the cells to go through a process called apoptosis (cell death).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
