\nOne way to improve volume loss is to inject fillers into areas of your face that have lost volume. At Advanced Dermatology, we prefer hyaluronic acid fillers such as JUV\u00c9DERM<\/a>\u00ae, Restylane<\/a>\u00ae, Perlane<\/a>\u00ae , BELOTERO BALANCE<\/a>\u00ae and the newest form, JUV\u00c9DERM VOLUMA\u2122 XC<\/a> because they look and feel natural when injected. We treat many areas including folds between your nose and the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds), cheeks, under eyes, folds between the corners of your mouth and chin (marionette lines), and lips.
\nHyaluronic acid fillers have a long safety record because hyaluronic acid is a natural component of your skin. Another advantage of hyaluronic acid fillers is that the treatment is reversible, meaning that if a problem arises, we can inject an enzyme that breaks down the injected filler, thus neutralizing and removing the problem.<\/p>\n

The procedure uses radiofrequency, which induces tiny wounds and transmits energy to the middle part of the skin. Radiofrequency is unique in that it is not absorbed differently by darker skin colors so it is safe and effective in darker skinned patients. It also ablates only 5% of the skin at a time, thus causing very little redness and down-time.
