Have you ever looked in the mirror and asked, “How did I get this turkey neck?” Excess fat under the chin, skin laxity from aging and sun damage, and prominent muscle bands, called platysma bands, all contribute to the dreaded turkey neck. To remove excess fat under the chin, Advanced Dermatology uses Kybella\u2122\ufe0f and CoolMini\u2122. Kybella\u2122 is deoxycholic acid which is a similar synthetic molecule our bodies naturally produce to break down fat. When we inject this liquid substance under the chin, fat membranes are destroyed and reabsorbed into the body, permanently removing excess fat.
