A good first line of defense to combat belly fold rashes is to reduce moisture in the area. Corn starch can be helpful, along with careful attention to drying the affected area after showers. Whole-body antiperspirants are another option.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Most of the time, it is relatively easy to use anti-yeast topical medications and some drying agents to reduce the overly moist environment that yeast love. Topicals that include aluminum acetate, zinc oxide, and patrolatum are good options.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the case is severe or caused by an infection (or the rash turns into sores) a doctor can prescribe a variety of topical creams.<\/span><\/p>\n
