There are two versions of this presentation: Organizing a Volunteer Group Based on experience gained within Black Rose and DCSMA, this presentation is focused on the process of creating a safe, comfortable space in which folks can share their experiences and on motivating these same folks to create a lasting organization. Topics include the basics, building coalitions, governance issues and outreach. Questions, comments and dialogue will be encouraged.
